COSMOS Adventures :Part 12......7-22-17

YAY!!!! PARENT'S DAY!...so...i was finally able to see my parents after two weeks...they were running a little late due to traffic...and i woke up late due to me staying up the previous night talking to a friend *warning: staying up until 1:30 a.m. is not good for your health*...they picked me up and the first thing we did was EAT ASIAN FOOD....i missed eating REAL food...so we went to a dim sum...it was very good...and i ate a lot of food...it kinda made me sleepy...but we went 2 go see the HP movie...it was rather a disappointment....i did some shopping at the horton plaza...and we head on over to seaport village...and i wandered around and took some pics...and buying a gift 4 my friend *the emo panda bear*....he he...then they brought me to this 1 filipino joint that serves terrific food...and i ate even more!...we headed on over to the navy base so i can get some of the stuff that i needed...and they brought me back here 2 COSMOS...and i said good-bye and to take care of my little baby *my cat Mick*....so yeah...after they left...i read some more HP....

COSMOS Adventures :Part 11......7-21-17

so today is saturday....and i was able to go to the bookstore not too far from the UCSD campus 2 pick up my copy of the new HP BOOK!!! i was so happy...it only cost me about $20 since i was a member of barnes & nobles...and we went to starbucks after we purchased our books...ah...i heart caramel frapps mucho....and i came back 2 the dorms...and i read...and read...and read...we went to the padre's game around 5-ish...and it was cool at the game...it was my first time going to a major league baseball game...and we took pics and videos while we were there...and it was fun...he he...so yeah...and the chili cheese dogs were very scrumptious...he he

COSMOS Adventures :Part 10......7-20-17

alrighty then...today was the day when someone from Adobe came and showed us the cool stuff u can do in Photoshop...he was nice and gave us some free-bee's *small note book and pen*...it was funny because i used some of my own photos to edit while he demonstrated on how to do each and every interesting effect....and that night....was the DANCE!!...i danced a little...but got tired and sat down due to my knees and ankles hurting like heck and making me close to falling down the steps...uh...man...i hate it when that happens...but i did have a good time at the dance...so yeah...

since it's been ages since i've updated this page *due to the fact of getting random stuff done and reading the new HP book*...i'll update it now...today we just listened to mrs. miranda's presentation...i believe this was the day when she assigned us the C.A.S.H. project that was to be due on tuesday...we barely decided on what we were going to do, but decided to put it off until we were sure on what the project was going to be on....we also presented our two powerpoints on the two major concepts of filmmaking and a few tools that we enjoyed using in powerpoint....and yeah....thats all i can remember....

alrighty then....almost all of 2day's classes took place here in the computer lab...since the projector in the class on the top floor wasnt working...we used the 1 in the computer lab...it was cool cuse i finally got how 2 make functions work alot better....and again, i ate at shogun *man...i heart japanese food!*...demo, 2morrow i gotta start eating at cafe ventanas again because i'll probably waste all of my money there!! AAHH!!!....anywhos.....i finally decided to talk to my older sister *she's kind of got mad at me due to the fact that i'm here in SD*...he he....and yeah....thats basically all i did today...

OK.....2day was an alright day.....lectures were usually interesting....and i went 2 the price center 4 lunch w/ luis and derik...it was cool....and since im exauhsted from walking and running to and from the basketball courts....sorry peoples....but im 2 tired 2 type anything here really....since i really have nothing 2 say......and since i have 2 blog every night....so yeah....gomen nasai tomodachis....

since i forgot 2 do yesterdays...i'll just do it right now...It was alright yesterday...its just that i waited until the last minute again to finish my essay...but i got it done....it was fun working w/ the premiere pro...i might use it 2 edit some skate clips that i took when i was back in the valley and skating around w/ my crew...he he...so yeah....lectures were interesting as usual....but i need 2 find a way 2 keep myself awake...i think those iced coffee thingys would do the trick from now on....yeah....

Since i couldn't get 2 post this weekend....i'll make it up right now...On saturday, half of the cluster went 2 the beach...it was cool and funny watching irene, albert, patricia, and derik *sp?*...it was hilarious when we were playing in the waves....and we just stood in the sand and talked 4 about half an hour....we got back and we had a BBQ outside...no offense, demo the people @ cafe ventanas need 2 learn how 2 cook beef...or they need 2 make some good carne asada!! YEAH!!....and sunday......well, i washed clothes almost all morning and i did some acrylic painting w/ krista and some other people from cluster 1....the best part was when we were doing the jello fight...i ran back 2 the dorm just so i can take a shower...he he....i wanna do it again...so yeah...

Bloody Hell im tired! *and feeling sick again....uh*...anywho's...2day is the so-called dreadful FRIDAY THE 13TH!!!...just curious...how many people believe this day is so terrible?....its just another day...and bad stuff happen everyday whether we like it or not....and why are people so obsessed about this day of being bad?!?!....AAHHH!!!....well...about my classes....they were alright...just trying 2 make the stupid program 2 work is a pain in the neck...so yeah....

COSMOS Adventures: Part 3

So 2day is thursday...and 2day is also COSMOS Olympics *this reminds me of Hornet Olympics back @ CHS*....and we gotta do our ridiculously hilarious cheer and dance...he he...funny...2day's classes were ok...but i like the 2nd part of the class...watching videos of robotic dogs playing soccer....he he...i remember when i first saw it on Toonami of Cartoon Network....it was cool...so yeah....the days seem 2 b going by faster and faster these days....and its kinda cool...and it seems like ive been here 4 a LONG time....but its only been a few days....and its been a little over a week since ive last seen my partners in crime from the Valley....so yeah....i hope i remember the cheer, the dance routine, and the food from the cafeteria 4 the cheer....this will all make sense when we the cheer....seriously....4 reals....

COSMOS Adventures: Part 2

He he he....2day wasnt that bad....demo im still tired and sore from monday night!! We started programming 4 the 1st session of class....and we messed around w/ photoshop in the lab...pretty cool....and i love working w photoshop....i hope we get 2 work w/ fireworks since i also working w/ that program *and i miss messing around w/ it @ home*....so yeah.....and its extremely funny since i now know how 2 get 2 the class and stuff.....he he he...wow....man am i tired....and feeling a little sick from the dinner....uh...oh well....

COSMOS Adventures :Part 1

Today was a very interesting day. So I woke up, and I noticed that i was VERY sore and tired from the previous night from playing Capture the Flag w/ a ton of other people. My right side of my jaw is sore, so I really can't eat properly due to me running into someone last night while playing. After breakfast, all of Cluster 1 went on over 2 Balboa Park and went to a small convention, where they talked about the issues of the cyber-world that involved Myspace, Xanga, and other websites where tons of people are part of and create their own little site. We listened to what they had 2 say about it, and we told them what we thought about it since we were some of the students that went to the convention. It was quite funny towards the end because we ended up answering some of the other parents and adult's questions about Myspace. So we headed back and ate lunch, tired and laughing a little. Some of us sat outside of the Cafe since there wasn't any room left inside. It really is a nice day 2day, and I hope that it doesn't rain since I want to do the Sunset walk later on this evening. So yes....I believe the soreness is starting to hit me pretty bad.....now I can't even laugh w/out hurting all over!! AAHHHH!!!!!

1st Full Day @ COSMOS

Well....its been almost a full 24 hours that I've been here at COSMOS. So far, it's fun and the people are wicked here. Roommate is cool and the other girls in the dorm suite are also wicked. Yeah, I do miss home, but it's only a little. The only thing I miss at the moment is my cat, Mick and my mother dear's delicious cooking *ah....real rice!*. I'm shocked that there are a few more people from the Imperial Vally. There's about 2 other people that are in the same cluster as I am! *We're all in Cluster 1: Adventures in Media Computing*. So yeah...taking pictures of random stuff was fun, but it would have been better if I remembered 2 bring my cable 4 my camera! *slaps forehead* Oh well, I'll just deal with it 4 now. So yeah....interesting program people. And I swear I don't mean 2 scare people!
